CMC was created to make everyday eating feel easier, more beautiful and genuinely enjoyable—without asking you to plan, shop, cook and clean for every meal.
How CMC began
Before opening CMC, we owned and operated a coffee shop in downtown Tacoma. That experience taught us how much people value places that bring comfort, beauty and ease into their everyday routines.
We also saw a need that extended beyond coffee: people wanted genuinely good food, but they did not always have the time or energy to plan meals, shop for ingredients, cook and clean every day.
We imagined a different kind of food business—somewhere between a neighborhood market, a restaurant and the feeling of opening your own refrigerator to find that dinner is already handled.
That idea became CMC.
A prepared-food shop designed for real life
CMC (Craft Meal Collection) opened in Capitol Hill with a simple purpose: to offer thoughtfully prepared food that fits naturally into the way people actually live.
Our refrigerators are filled with globally inspired meals, salads, soups, sandwiches, desserts and seasonal specialties—ready to enjoy today or keep on hand for the days ahead.
Some guests visit for lunch. Others stop by for dinner, dessert or a few meals to stock their refrigerators. CMC is also available through scheduled pickup and neighborhood delivery, bringing the same thoughtfully prepared food directly into our customers’ homes.
There is no rigid plan and no subscription required. Choose what sounds good, order what works for your week and let us take care of the cooking.
Meet Rebecca and Anh
CMC was created by Rebecca and Anh, partners in life and in business.
Anh leads the kitchen, bringing care, consistency and deeply satisfying flavor to the food prepared at CMC. Rebecca shapes the customer experience, visual world and larger vision of the business—from the feeling of the shop to the ways CMC can make life easier beyond its front door.
Together, we have built CMC through early mornings, long days and a shared belief that convenience and care can exist in the same meal.
You’ll often find both of us working behind the scenes, preparing food, stocking the shop, packing orders and continuing to shape what CMC can become.

Food should be convenient without feeling anonymous. We prepare CMC’s menu with attention to flavor, comfort, quality and the small details that make a meal feel special.

The Capitol Hill shop is the first home of CMC, but our vision reaches beyond a single storefront.
We are building toward a future in which CMC can help more households eat well, bring thoughtfully prepared food into more neighborhoods and develop a deeper connection between the food we serve, the seasons and the ingredients behind each meal.
